Łukasz Urban has been the President of the Board at BioMaxima SA since January 2017. He oversees the sales and production activities of the company. Earlier, he founded and until November 2016 held CEO position at Biocorp Polska Ltd, an industrial and clinical microbiology media manufacturer which merged with BioMaxima SA in December 2016.
Mr Urban is Chairman of the Investment Committee of the National Capital Fund which invests in venture capital funds supplying small and medium-sized enterprises with equity. In the years 2006–2009 he was the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at PZU Asset Management. Previously, he worked in London at 3i Investments plc, a private equity fund management company. He was also an arbitrator at the Arbitration Court at the National Depository for Securities.
His previous appointments included management and supervisory boards of other companies. He also has many years of consulting experience.
Łukasz Urban holds an MBA from IESE Business School (Universidad de Navarra), Master of Science from Yale University (Biology Department) and Bachelor of Arts from Hamilton College (Magna Cum Laude), he also studied at the Department of Biochemistry at Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine (University of London). He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Sigma Xi. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Henryk Lewczuk oversees the financial, logistics and public tendering activities of BioMaxima SA.
